Where the Soul of the Himalayas Meets Sustainable Luxury

About Khechuperi Bamboo House

Welcome to Khechuperi Bamboo House, the beating heart of the sustainable revolution in the North East. We are not just a brand; we are the custodians of an ancient legacy, bringing the finest handicrafts of Sikkim from the mist-covered foothills of Mount Khanchendzonga directly to your hands.

Our story began in the pristine village of Thingling, West Sikkim. While the world was slowly waking up to the dangers of plastic, we were already forging a path back to nature. Established in 2016, Khechuperi Bamboo House was born from a singular, powerful vision: to prove that eco-friendly living is not a compromise—it is an upgrade.

We are the only individual enterprise in the state to have successfully established a fully functional bamboo and wood craft factory, bridging the gap between raw tribal artistry and modern design utility. We don’t just manufacture products; we curate experiences. When you hold a piece from Khechuperi, you aren’t holding a factory-made object. You are holding a piece of the earth, carved by the hands of master artisans who have inherited their skills through generations.

Our journey has taken us from the quiet slopes of Thingling to the global stage. We have become the standard-bearer for handicrafts of Sikkim, transforming local bamboo and wood into world-class artifacts that have charmed diplomats, government officials, and eco-conscious citizens alike. We are 100% Eco-Friendly, 100% Organic, and 100% Sikkim.

The Kitchen Stuff:

Dine like the Himalayan ancestors? Our kitchenware is our crown jewel. We craft the legendary Theki (curd container), a vessel that naturally enhances the taste of your yogurt. We produce the authentic Shiper (wooden butter container) and the Madani (butter-making churner), bringing the rustic charm of a farmhouse kitchen into your modern home.

Our collection extends to exquisite wooden Rice Bowls and Plates that add an earthy aroma to every meal. We have engineered Oil Dispensers and Wooden Wine Barrels that are not only leak-proof but stunningly beautiful. This is kitchenware that lasts a lifetime.

Drinkware :

Hydration has never looked this good. Our signature Bamboo Water Bottles are a marvel of engineering—natural, distinct, and stylish. We also craft the Wooden Mug, a product so iconic it was selected for the G20 Summit in Sikkim. Imagine sipping your morning coffee or evening tea from a mug carved from a single piece of wood, connecting you instantly to the forests of Sikkim.

Cultural Souvenirs

We are the keepers of the culture. We craft the Dungroo (millet wine container) and the traditional Tongba, essential elements of Sikkim’s social fabric. For those who want to carry a piece of Sikkim with them, our Sikkim Dhungra Keychains are miniature works of art—intricate, durable, and deeply symbolic.
